QuakeSafe, deprem anında ve sonrasında sizin ve ailenizin güvenliğini takip etmeniz için yapılmış bir uygulamadır. Bu politika hangi verileri topladığımızı, neden topladığımızı ve nasıl silebileceğinizi anlatır. Toplamadığımız şeyler de en az toplananlar kadar açıkça yazılmıştır.
Konum izni verirseniz, uygulama her açıldığında tek bir yaklaşık konum kaydeder ve bir öncekinin üzerine yazar. Bunun tek bir amacı vardır: bir depremin size 200 km içinde olup olmadığını hesaplamak — böylece ülkedeki her deprem için değil yalnızca yakınınızdakiler için uyarılırsınız ve aileniz durumunuzu sorabilir.
Konum geçmişi tutmuyoruz. Nerede olduğunuzun kaydı tek satırdır ve sürekli değiştirilir; nereye gittiğinizin izi hiçbir zaman oluşmaz. Bu konum başka hiçbir kullanıcıya gösterilmez. Aile üyelerinizin gördüğü konum, yalnızca sizin bir güvenlik bildirimine veya mesaja bilerek eklediğiniz konumdur.
İzni telefonunuzun ayarlarından kaldırdığınızda uygulama saklanan konumu sunucudan siler.
Verilerinizi satmıyoruz ve reklam amacıyla kimseyle paylaşmıyoruz.
Yalnızca uygulamanın çalışması için gereken hizmetlerle:
Deprem verilerini AFAD, KOERI, EMSC ve USGS gibi kaynaklardan alırız. Bu istekler sunucumuzdan gider ve hiçbir kullanıcı bilgisi içermez.
Uygulama içinden Profil → Hesabı sil yolunu izleyerek hesabınızı ve ona bağlı her şeyi kalıcı olarak silebilirsiniz: mesajlarınız, konumunuz, güvenlik bildirimleriniz, toplanma noktalarınız ve bildirim anahtarlarınız. İşlem geri alınamaz ve bizden bir şey talep etmenizi gerektirmez.
Gönderdiğiniz mesajların karşı tarafın kendi sohbetinde kalabileceğini unutmayın — tıpkı gönderilmiş bir SMS gibi.
Uygulama ile sunucu arasındaki tüm trafik şifrelidir (HTTPS/WSS) ve şifreler geri döndürülemez şekilde saklanır. Aile mesajları sunucuda okunabilir biçimde tutulur — uçtan uca şifreli değildir. Bunu açıkça yazıyoruz çünkü aksini varsaymak zararlı olabilir: sunucuya erişimi olan biri mesajlarınıza teknik olarak ulaşabilir.
QuakeSafe 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklara yönelik değildir ve bilerek onlardan veri toplamayız.
6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu ve GDPR kapsamındaki benzer haklar çerçevesinde; verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme, düzeltilmesini veya silinmesini isteme ve işlemeye itiraz etme haklarına sahipsiniz. Silme işlemini uygulama içinden kendiniz yapabilirsiniz; diğer talepler için bize yazın.
Bu politikayı güncellersek yukarıdaki tarihi değiştiririz. Topladığımız veri türü veya kullanım amacı değişirse uygulama içinden ayrıca bildiririz.

QuakeSafe helps you and your family account for each other during and after an earthquake. This policy says what we collect, why, and how to delete it. What we do not collect is stated as plainly as what we do.
If you grant location permission, we store one approximate position, refreshed when you open the app and overwritten each time. It answers exactly one question: whether an earthquake happened within 200 km of you, so that you are alerted about quakes near you rather than every quake in the country, and so your family can be asked whether you are safe.
We keep no location history. There is a single row, continuously replaced; no trail of where you have been is ever built. This position is never shown to another user. The location your family can see is one you deliberately attached to a check-in or a message.
If you revoke the permission on your phone, the app deletes the stored position from the server.
We do not sell your data, and we share none of it for advertising.
Only the services the app needs to work:
We fetch earthquake data from sources such as AFAD, KOERI, EMSC and USGS. Those requests come from our server and carry no user information.
In the app, Profile → Delete account permanently removes your account and everything attached to it: messages, location, check-ins, meeting points and push tokens. It is irreversible and requires no request to us.
Messages you sent may remain in the other person's copy of the conversation, as a text message would.
All traffic between the app and the server is encrypted (HTTPS/WSS), and passwords are stored irreversibly. Family messages are stored readable on the server — they are not end-to-end encrypted. We say so plainly because assuming otherwise could be harmful: someone with access to the server could technically read them.
QuakeSafe is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Under Turkey's KVKK (Law 6698), and comparable rights under the GDPR, you may ask whether your data is processed, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and object to processing. You can perform the deletion yourself in the app; write to us for anything else.
If we update this policy we will change the date above. If the kinds of data we collect or the purpose changes, we will also say so in the app.
